Without having the full details (ie, a tcpdump or a CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG
log) it's hard to say exactly what the problem is, but I *suspect* that
it is related to a workaround for Exchange 5.5 IMAP:

http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5348

what is likely happening is that Exchange 5.5 is reporting there are 'n'
messages but when we request the summary info for all the messages, it
returns some number < n, therefor having us re-SELECT the folder and try
again...looping endlessly.

anyway, I later learned that re-SELECTing the folder doesn't work
anyway, apparently Exchange waits for a NOOP to force a sync of it's
internal cache (which is apparently why clients like Outlook are
extremely aggressive with their NOOP commands - or so I've heard).

anyways, I dunno.

submit a bug with a complete CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG log. don't bother with
a tcpdump unless we request it later, but I suspect it will not be
needed.
