I can't reproduce this in 1.2.1, but the same thing happens when you drag-to-resize the column headers in the message index. This is a known issue... someone from Ximian once acknowledged it, though it may have been forgotten. I just searched for a bug report and couldn't find one, so I created this one: http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=37843
I also mentioned the problem you observed, Andrew, though it should probably be filed as a separate bug since it's in a different area and I did not encounter it myself. --Eric On Mon, 2003-02-10 at 23:08, Andrew Cowie wrote: > Is there a reason that Evolution accesses the disk drive (can't tell > whether it's reading or writing) once for every single pixel that a > "message" moves while dragging it from a Mail folder over to the Folder > List / Shortcuts bar? > > Andrew -- I have nothing against the American people... ...but it is time for a regime change _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
