Yep, turns out I was wrong. I'll memorize it.
I had a disussion in mind starting on 2002-11-18: Not Zed said the thing
about missing standard, but Russell Stuart pointed to RFC 2298. There
were more comments on that thread, that there indeed is a standard way.
