Dear Evolution-users, has anybody already syncronized with a Handspring Visor Deluxe (the first handspring pda)? I have not installed gnome but only KDE. It does not work:
(Or have I messed something? Should I only press the hotsync button and evolution will sync automatically?) I cannot syncronize, and if I go into Pilot Settings, the gnome control center appears. Here, I had added the device using /dev/ttyUSB1. At the "pilot" I clicked on "vom Pilot empfangen" (Receive from Pilot). I get the error message "the request to get pilot id failed" - anyway if I press the hot sync button on the visor before or after click on the button. Here, what it writes into /var/log/messages: (It seems that the device is prober recognized, isn't it?)
