Here is the trick: Evo doesn't perform any reformatting on signatures
created by scripts.
So create a ~/bin/mysig and chmod +x it:
#!/bin/sh
echo "Here is the signature."
echo "Yet enother line."
And add it as a script in the signatures list. That's probably what you
want.
