Sounds embarassing... and like there's someone else involved:

U (I love you too!) ==> C ==> D ==> A

or 

U (I love you too!) ==> C ==> B == > D ==> A

or

U (I love you too!) ==> C AND bcc:==> A (ouch!)

could have been anything from a virus, to a typo, to a p-o'ed friend...
