Here is what is running evolution wise.

top -b -n1 | grep evolution
2773 XXX       9   0 19520  19M 12484 S     0.0 10.2   0:32
evolution-1.4
2787 XXX       9   0  6576 6568  5428 S     0.0  3.4   0:00
evolution-alarm

This is what I get when trying to run "evolution-wombat"
# evolution-wombat
-bash: evolution-wombat: command not found

if you ment "evolution -wombat" this is what I get

#evolution -wombat
(Killing old version of Wombat...)
calendar-gui-Message: e_tasks_open(): Could not issue the request

(evolution:3088): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: file bonobo-ui-util.c: line 182
(bonobo_ui_util_xml_to_pixbuf): assertion `xml != NULL' failed

Evolution tries to open in tasks with that command but again cannot open
the .ics file
