I remember from a recent changelog or todo list in this maillist, that character support for languages like Chinese and Hebrew works now, but only left to right. No other directions yet.

i can see hebrew in evolution, but it apears backwords. i tried :

"LC_ALL=he_IL evolution"

and nothing apears to change. 
all other GTK2 based applications seems to work fine with hebrew.. 
anyone ever expirienced anything similar ?
