If you set CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1 and run evolution in a terminal (evolution-mail for 1.2, and then run evolution normally), you'll get a log of imap traffic that evolution sees.
Maybe one day i'll try install cyrus to do more testing on, at the moment i only have uw and courier.
