Yes, but evo isn't using that memory - evo memory usage has only gone
from 23M to 29M. Virtually all the rest of the memory is used in
increased buffer usage.
You should be looking at the 'actv' numbers, and that's gone from 163M
to 555M. The buffer usage has gone from 33M to 371M, which accounts for
much of the increased use. The buffer usage will be decreased as your
system processes need the memory. The buffers are disk buffers - if you
leave a process active that uses files/network - like evo - the buffers
will be used. If your system is idle, then the buffers won't be used
and their size won't increase.
It's a feature of Linux, not a bug.
