I think we getting closer ... I do NOT have a dir like that ?? in ~/evolution/mail/ nor the files cache-pop:// Wait ... Checking something I found the problem ... !! I think after my harddisk crash the "mail" dir was gone and there was no directory named mail. There was a core file named "mail" and if I did "mkdir mail" he said that is exits. I openend it and is binary ?? No glue why ?? So I deleted it and type mkdir mail and mkdir pop3 and hit send&recieve twice and WOW evo deletes mails from the server. I check something more. If I do chown on the mail dir for example to root, he now recieves the mail twice again. So maybe that's is the problem that other users have. When they import from a earlier installation or so ( and do cp with root rights and not use import tool for example, I do cp to but with the right rights ) and the dirs has not the correct user. If I delete this dir and it doesn't exits, evo greated one for me, but if exits but only with other rights, he recieves the mail twice, maybe there should a warning or so ? But many many thx to point me to the solution. If you not give me that with the dir I never ever find that out ... Thx again ...
