Anytime Brian. Don't forget the bit about setting your colour depth to 24-bit though. It seems that Solaris 9 now sets the desktop (and apps) to 8-bit colour by default (unlike previous versions) so Evolution will seem to work -- but will just die when you try to open your inbox, calendar or tasks. Set the machine to 24-bit (or better) and it works fine. In my case, I have a Creative framebuffer so I just had to create the file /etc/dt/config/Xservers file to include the following (single) line. :0 Local [EMAIL PROTECTED] root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :0 -nobanner -dev /dev/fbs/ffb0 defdepth 24 Hope this helps. -- Regards Andy, G8TQH http://www.rickham.net/ _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
