I seem to be the onlyone to having , or at least mention this problem. Could it be I 
am the only Evolution use amount web.de 500.000+ customers? :-)

with IMAP, there are like 100 different ways to query the same data. their query is different from ours. we need more information so that vfolders on mailing lists work, they don't have vfolders. hence obviously our queries are going to differ. the fact that mozilla works is just pure random coincidence. it does not negate the fact that imap.web.de is broken.
