Hmm. I'm sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, but I'm still puzzled. As
you can see, Evolution does not do what you describe. (Or is "My
Signature" below not an actual Evolution-added signature? Did you just
type that in?) I haven't noticed it stripping any messages I've replied
to at work, either.

For that matter, in my pre-Evolution days I don't think Emacs Gnus ever
stripped messages, either. FWIW, M$ Outlook also doesn't.

Anyway, now that we've got a good long top-posted thread going here,
look how far away from my writing you find my signature. That's what I
find a little awkward.
