broken--F7 enters the mode, but it won't turn it back off.
On debian/experimental here (1.5.7), F7 appears to turn it on just fine, but it doesn't turn it off (immediately). That is, pressing F7 to turn it on will enable it for the message currently in view. Pressing it again will only disable it for messages that are opened in the future. Indeed, this is true if I go through the menu, too.
