Again, currently using the 200404301815 development snapshot of 1.5.7. I have a Palm Zire (you know, the cheap PDAs they give out with a tire change :). It's pretty basic, but it gets the job done--scheduling and such. I tried to sync it with Evolution today (haven't done it since upgrading to 1.5) with poor results.
I opened Tools/Pilot Settings, as I find it necessary to start the daemon to sync. I got the following output: gpilotd-Message: Activating object OAFIID:GNOME_Pilot_Daemon ** Message: pilot = Palm Pilot ** Message: Pilot name -> Palm Pilot ** Message: Pilot id -> 501 ** Message: Pilot username -> Andrew ** Message: Pilot creation/rom = 0/0 ** Message: Cradle Type -> USB ** Message: cradle device name -> Cradle ** Message: cradle device name -> /dev/pilot ** Message: Pilot Speed -> 115200 ** Message: Timeout -> 2 Then I started the Hotsync on my Palm. The first time, it duplicated most (but not all) of my Contacts. I deleted the doubles from both. I also deleted an additional entry from my Palm, but after resyncing, it was still in Evo's Contacts. It seems to have picked up everything else from my Palm (mostly additional calendar events), but there are some things in Evo currently that do not show up on my Palm and (noting the deleted contact) vice versa. What could be wrong? _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
