do you know what types it is trying to use?

We can't really have the code hard-coded with every possible type, text/uri-list is for filenames/links which makes it easy to do this sort of thing.

I presume it wouldn't be a setting but an internal drag target used as a generic fallback.

Thanks, Patrick. When I drag from Konqueror over a new message, I get
the "no entry" sign over the attachment bar, but if I drop in the body,
it puts the file URI there (file:/home/des etc.).

I guess I'll have to wait for SuSE to update KDE :)
