OpenOffice 1.1.x is unable to read Evo 2.x address books, because OOo is
looking in the wrong place. I raised an issue for this (Issue 34909) a
few months ago, and which the OOo developers seem to be working on, as I
see update information occasionally. If it seems to be working for you,
I think you'll find that OOo is looking at your 1.4.x address book.
