this is properly encoded, so evolution seems to be doing the right
thing.

where exactly does it display wrong? I don't see how we'd display it as
R&#xF3;&#x17C;yc anywhere.

does it display like that in evolution? or in another mailer? or what?

can you provide a small screenshot or something to illustrate the
problem?
