I've got a total of 363K of messages(3.8GB of disk space). 4 vfolders which I hardly use. 6 folders with lots of mbox files. RSS Memory is 180MB on load-up. scanning of messages is slow during load up but after that it's OK. (1.5GB of RAM Helps. But prior to this with 512MB of memory and swapping ~100-200MB, it hurts) > > > > I've been radically redesigning the way mail information is stored and I > > > guess I need to make sure it scales well this far and beyond. > > > > I don't know about the new features in CVS, but I'm pretty happy with > > the present state (all my colleagues as well). > > Well, "redesign" means ... well, redesign. i.e. What sort of re-design? Need any input?? One thing with vfolders. I can search for a message, but once I find it I have no idea which folder/mbox it is in. Is there any way to locate/determine that? -- Ow Mun Heng Gentoo/Linux on DELL D600 1.4Ghz 1.5GB RAM 98% Microsoft(tm) Free!!
