You would get this if the libcamelexchange.so is not getting loaded. Not sure why it would fail for you. Also, if things still fail, you could get some debugging traces by exporting E2K_DEBUG=4 and starting evolution-exchange-storage in a separate terminal. Also, try reading through some bugs filed in bugzilla for "connector" product and see if others have already filed a bug for the kind of error you see.
