Hey all,
I recently upgraded from Fedora Core 3 to Fedora Core 4. I
transferred my .evolution directory prior to opening Evolution for the
first time, hoping that my local calendar and contact data would
convert; but this seems to only have partially happened.
What I actually saw: the data from my primary calendar (called
"Personal") and my primary contact list (called "Personal") show up in
the new Evolution, but none of the data from the other local calendars
or contact lists are visible via Evolution.
I've tried a number of things, and it seems that the names of the
calendars are stored someplace other than just the .evolution directory
(since, when I dispose of the directory and re-install, the calendars I
create seem to still be present). I've Googled and I've read manuals,
I've looked at every menu item I could find; but I'm not having much luck.
So... sorry to bother everybody if this question has been answered
before: but what would you suggest that I do to get my data out of the
old .evolution directory (which I have backed up) and get it into my new
Evolution install?
If it's not too much trouble, could you copy my personal email
address on this, as well (I'm not actually any of the Evolution lists).
Thanks much for anything anybody can suggest: I'm really missing my
calendaring and contact system.
