I have the exact same problem with the 2001-04-* snapshots, both the
distributed versions and my recompiled ones. Safe to say, something
broke IMAP in the current snapshots
I've backleveled back to the 2001-03-25-09.06 snapshot, which worked, as
did previous snapshots. I'm fixing to try the 2001-03-31 snapshot.
Will report success/failure.

Definitely a problem, and not on your end. What IMAP server do you
have? I 'm running Cyrus IMAP4 v1.5.19.
