I managed to get it to work by: 1. Download the freetype2 package from ftp.ximian.com. 2. Forcibly remove the existing freetype. 'rpm -e --nodeps freetype'. 3. Install the new freetype2 package. CAVEAT: Messing around with the packages appears to have broken my apache install, but I don't use the web server so I have removed it. Mike.
