I saw that suggestion in an earlier posting. After reading that, I was
looking for a button or menu option labeled "install"
After reading your message, I looked *carefully* at the red-carpet
application and noticed the "install" icon next to the "update" icon.
Now when I started evolution the first time I got the message "unable to
initialize evolution shell" and evo crashed.
Subsequently when I launched evolution, it loaded properly, and this
email is being composed and sent via evo.
Should I be concerned about this?
Thanks for the help!

Tom Cooper
