One safe way to do it is to run evolution-mail in gdb before starting
the shell. When evolution-mail crashes, you can give us a stack trace
by doing:
(gdb) info threads
which will give you the number of running threads. Then you do:
(gdb) thread 1
(gdb) bt
(gdb) thread 2
(gdb) bt
and so on, for all the running threads. Finally you post the bug in
http://bugzilla.ximian.com.
