Well, I can't swear to this, but I thought that I deleted the imap account, created one with the same settings (including ssl enabled) and then clicked on the send/receive button to connect. > an imap timeout? huh? >From my logs: Nov 30 20:26:56 dirac xinetd[10725]: START: imap pid=11148 from=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Nov 30 20:30:56 dirac xinetd[10725]: EXIT: imap pid=11148 duration=240(sec) I did nothing to terminate this imap process ... I assumed that xinetd terminated it after 240 seconds of idle time. These are the server log messages that I got from the last failed attempt to get an imaps connection.
