I recently attempted an import of an .ldif that I created from a Mozilla address book using Dawn. Dawn created an .ldif that had <cr>s in it. I stripped those. When I imported the .ldif, Evolution put the e-mail address in the nickname field as mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The following is the form of a typical .ldif record.
dn: cn=Joe Holzer,[EMAIL PROTECTED] cn: Joe Holzer givenname: Joe Holzer xmozillanickname: mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] o: Intel objectclass: top objectclass: person Can I do anything to the .ldif file to make Evolution read it correctly? Thanks. Howard A. Jacobson Poisonous and non-poisonous snakes SVP, Sales have similar markings.
