Hello.
I'm using Evolution 1.0 from the evolution-1.0-1mdk RPM package made by
Mandrake against a uw-imap server running locally.
When I open a semi-large folder (like this one, which got ~600 messages
and is ~2 MB big) in Evolution it takes a very long time for Evo to
display the contents. I can hear the harddisk work for close to 30
seconds while Evo displays "�berblickinformation f�r neue Nachrichten
wird abgerufen" ("Overview information for new messages is being
fetched" ?).
If I open the same folder with mutt, it's open about right away (~2
seconds). Also Mozilla doesn't take that long.
What is going on in Evolution that makes Evo so extremely slow?
