Type "run" at the gdb prompt, and give it a few seconds to start up (wait until your hard drive stops grinding, etc). Then start evolution like you normally would. Leave the window lying around, because you won't actually get the "component of type mail has died" dialog right away, instead you'll see some error in the gdb window, and the mailer will just hang. Type "thread apply all bt" at the gdb prompt, and file a bugzilla report with the output.
