I would like to be able to install evolution on a machine on which I do not have root privileges.
I unpacked the source rpms into a private area and have set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to pick up the required the shared libraries : fine. However when I try and start evolution I get errors that indicate that evolution is assuming it has been installed in /usr/share. Any way of getting around this ?
