If it works on other IMAP servers, I would suspect that this is a bug in your IMAP server.
Care to send a copy of this message to me? Since my IMAP server is also a Courier imapd, I should experience the same problem? If I don't, then I suspect that maybe your Courier IMAP server's configuration might be to blame.
