looking at the devel snapshot page, it seems that the building is not
adding pilot conduit support. i'm not sure why this is the case. i
tried building from the devel source myself but there were too many
libraries i simply did not have, and even after that it didn't
configure and build properly.
if anyone knows when pilot conduits will be built back into the devel
snapshot, pass the info on.
