I worked out from your reply that to see the total number of cards, i
needed to exit from Evolution, then go back into it and open the address
book again, which gave me the total number of cards in the address book.
I have checked the number of cards I have in my evolution box now, and
there are 373.
The mozilla address book I exported has 1438 cards in it, so something
has not worked somewhere. I have manually counted the number of
addresses in the text version I exported from Mozilla and there seem to
be about 1,400 names in it, give or take.

Also, how do you import the mozilla folders and address book automatically ?

I am sure I would not have all this trouble if only i could import
directly using the wizard.

FYI I am using Evolution 1.0.3, mozilla 0.9.9
