I may be remembering wrongly about 1.08. I converted to the 1.2 beta
recently, and it acts like you describe - even if only one match exists,
you still have to select it from a menu, at least for local address
book.  I'll check with LDAP and with an exchange address list when I get
a minute.  Reverting to 1.08 is not something I will do lightly.
