When I am editing a contact in Evolution 1.0.8 it doesn't seem to store my preferences for the phone numbers, address, or email selections.
For example, I have a client that I work with for whom I have 3 business voice numbers and one fax number. I don't (nor am I likely to) have his home or mobile numbers so I try to select "Business 2" and "Other" to replace the defaults of "Home" and "Mobile" which works but when I save it, close, and reload it the Home and Mobile fields are back and to see the other numbers I have to re-select them. It seems to me that the expected behavior is that it would display whichever ones you had selected last time you saved that contact. Perhaps I think that is expected because that is what PalmOS does though :). I searched for information on this topic but didn't come up with anything so far. Is this a bug? a feature? Even if I can't save it per-contact does anyone know how I could force the defaults to be different for all contacts? I don't mind selecting it for the occasional odd contact at work so much but my wife is starting to use Evolution for her friends/family info (I finally convinced her to leave Windows behind) and would like to change all the business defaults to something more appropriate for personal/home use.
