Hi out there, I just upgraded to Evo 1.2 and as far as I've heard, it shold be able now to sync my Palm via USB. However, I could not get it working: I tried it with /dev/ttyUSB0 to 5, but no success. Is there anybody on this list who successfully made it and can give a short explanation on How-To? It already starts with finding out to what USB device the Palm is connected to. For a serial port it's easy to tell ;)
Here's what /dev/bus/usb/devices says when I pressed the sync button on my USB cradle: T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=03 Cnt=02 Dev#= 5 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=16 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=0830 ProdID=0002 Rev= 1.00 S: Manufacturer=Palm, Inc. (used a separate serial cable for this).
