[Evolution] Microsoft Exchange 5.5 address looking was working in 1.0.8 butdoesn't in 1.2

I setup address lookup for Exchange server as per Paul O'Connor's instructions in post

while I was using evolution 1.0.8  and it worked just fine. Since upgrading this no longer works, I have removed and re-added the entries using killev between edits of the config.xmldb to no avail.

Any help appreciated
