I had this very same problem in evo 1.2.0 with courier imap. I was sending a mail to a user in a ldap addressbook. Accidentally I put a space in front of the name and so the name did not get resolved to a real address. Because of that all the mails I tried to send later were waiting for delivery in the outbox. When I deleted the very first email+ restarted evo it all worked fine again. Anyway this was quite confusing.
