I wrote about this in my other posting - there's a draft standard at least, Lachmann-Laser (included with the Openldap.org tar bundles), and one of the only two attributes necessary, nisMailAlias is in misc.schema. The only other attribute, 'top', is built in to Openldap (2.1.x, at least). Pretty please?
