[Evolution] GPG decryption fails with emails from others

I just installed Evolution 1.2.1, on RH 8.0, and now it won't decrypt PGP/GPG encrypted email from others, though it will decrypt email from myself.

I had no problems with the earlier Evolution version (don't remember the version number).

It's possible I'm missing something obvious here, because I only started to use Evolution in the last week, but I've checked all the FAQs I can find, as well as the on-line help.
