I've backported ofed-1.2.5 to rhel5.1 snap 4 (for ppc64 only). The
backport is basically FC6 with some header files removed because rhel5.1
has the kernel services in it that were stubbed in the FC6 backport.
The 1.2.5 backport can be found at:
http://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/cxgb3/dev_builds/rhel5.1-backport.tgz
This tarball contains a directory that can be put in
kernel_addons/backports/include/ and tweaked into the buildenv...

If we want to support it, it looks like there will need to be
some backport fixes also. Not sure why it is using the backport
