I did some testing with the copy of the patch present in OFED 1.3-rc1,
over a {RH5 (Tikanga) , ethtool-5-1.el5 , initscripts-8.45.14.EL-1}
system. I wanted to have a persistent configuration, were for that end I
have added the following line to the network script:
ETHTOOL_OPTS="adaptive-rx on rx-usecs 2 rx-frames 3"
it does not seem to work, when doing ifup some error is printed etc, do
you manage to have it working fine? the problem does not seem to be
related to ipoib as the same error is printed also for ethernet devices.
