I agree with Woody, and would add that we should focus on restricting
the scope of any changes to what is truly needed for the fix. Moving to
a new kernel version for a dot release, for example, is extremely
disruptive to all components.
Lets put this as an agenda item for our next OFED meeting: Defining a
process for point/fix releases for OFED
