Both kernel as well as user changes for QLogic VNIC driver are missing
in OFED-1.4-rc2.
Is it because somehow we missed the time window for OFED-1.4-rc2 or the
changes were not pulled in before OFED-1.4-rc2 release prepared?

Hi Amar,
OFED-1.4-rc2 was created on Thursday Sep 18. So, yes, you missed the time
window for OFED-1.4-rc2. These changes are present in OFED's daily build
starting from OFED-1.4-20080921-0600.
