I encountered the same error as you mentioned. There are 4 files in the
folder:/etc/rpm/macros. Which file and which line is an extra whitespace in ?
Would you please describe more detail ? Thanks a lot.
The error is:

group vlad does not exist - using root
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.23081 (%build)
