The analyst must be able to create and maintain documentation illustrating these designs for the purpose of providing a reference for developers. The Technical Analyst will work with technical leads and developers. The Technical Analyst must have knowledge around system building concepts, technical architecture and implementation of process workflow. Responsibilities: • Assist in gathering, refining and prioritizing requirements from functional requirements team through meetings, questionnaires or interviews. • Translate functional business requirements into systemic requirements and detailed technical designs *Basic Qualifications:* *• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Engineering or Equivalent Experience* *• Overall 6+ years in IT related to software development * *• 3 years of professional experience as a business/technical analyst * *• 2 years using UML * *• 1 year of professional experience as a developer using an object oriented language* Preferred Skills: • Ability to design applications that perform efficiently, are operationally stable and meet the business requirements • Solid working knowledge of development practices for working with a team of developers • Solid understanding of software architectures involving several systems and components in an enterprise environment • Experience and aptitude in using the latest Microsoft development tools and technologies Professional Skill Requirements: • Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle methodology and software development practices • Excellent programming and problem solving skills • Strong business/functional knowledge of the specific area of work • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Understanding of iterative use case based system design • Strong knowledge of UML and ability to create documentation using UML including Logical, Sequence, Activity, State and Class diagrams.
