* * *Hope you are doing well!* * * *Please review the below job description and reply ASAP with your updated resume and rate.* * * *Role : MAINFRAME ARCHITECT * * * *Location : NORTH HAVEN, CT* * * *Duration : 6 Months* * * *Rate : DOE* *Job Description:* *Mainframe Architect * * * Role: Architect – Mainframe Experience Level: 10 + Years Technical Competency: Architect Job/Role Description: •10+ years experience in information technology including five years experience in architecture/design •Identify Functional and Non Functional Requirements and propose technical strategies and recommend project level architectures •Define project level architecture; resolve functional issues and provide guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the software systems •Manage team of senior technical resources as required •Collaborates with partner teams, and, organizations to achieve objectives. •Receives general supervision and completes assigned activities independently •Provide research and development activities for architecture. - Consult with project teams in support of framework or pattern. •Study, document and develop architectural frameworks, integration patterns and reference material. Experience: •Experience with design and development of complex mainframe applications on Z/OS •Experience in defining processes for the projects •Experience in COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS and MQ •Experience in TableBase preferred •Experience in managing medium size teams •Experience with architecture organizations and ability to resolve architectural issues via governance. •Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business needs. •Experience with Large Scale Application Integration on a number of projects in all stages of the development life cycle •Experienced in uncovering requirements, conceptualizing solutions, and developing a framework for implementation of systems on at least one other project •Solution oriented approach and experience in tools/technology evaluation •Knowledge of open source tools/technologies •Ability to perform hands-on coding work as needed •Ability to work with distributed teams Skills: •Must Have: COBOL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, JCL, VSAM, MQ Series, TableBase •Required: Performance Tuning experience •Desirable: Experience in Client Server environment, Exposure to RPC •Nice to have: HealthCare Domain expertise, Java, XSLT/DataPower Knowledge •Communication Skills : L4 or above in Communication competency •Project Management Skills : Ideal to have L3 above in PM Competency * * *Should have excellent communication skills.* Send me your candidate’s profile to [email protected]; with Full name, Rate, Contact details, Visa status, Current Location, Relocation, and Availability.
