I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one
Enterprise Architect, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the
general qualifications of ITSAC Enterprise Architect 2 Category, Core
Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered
"works made for hire" and are the property of the TWC. TWC may include
pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit
to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law.
TWC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the
process of selecting a Worker(s).
One (1) Contractor will be working on the Employer Response TeleCenters
Scanning Project to provide professional services to product customization
and implementation for EMC Captiva (Formware, Input Acell, and Dispatcher).
Multiple years of experience with these products are required. The
successful candidate should be Captiva Certified. For the purposes of this
project, privacy is defined as the protection of personally identifiable
information of the citizens and businesses with whom TWC interacts.
The contractor will:
A. Assist in the Implementation of Formware, Input Acell, and
Dispatcher
B. Assist with customization of Formware, Input Acell, and Dispatcher
C. Identify areas for improvement
D. Provide architect expertise for virtual batching(Electronic Form
identification and batching) solution using Formware, Input Acell, and
Dispatcher
E. Other duties as assigned.
II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of general IT policies and practices at Texas state agencies.
Familiarity with general best practices in government regarding computer

Knowledge of and experience working with Texas Workforce Commission's
programs and information technology systems.
III. TERM OF SERVICE
Services expect to start as soon as possible and are to be completed by May
31, 2010. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 537 hours. This
service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties
agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
A. Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless
otherwise coordinated through the TWC. Normal business hours are Monday
through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when
the agency is closed.
B. The primary work location(s) will be at 101 E. 15th Street, Austin,
Texas. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall
be at the Worker's and/or Vendor's expense.
