Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 5+ years
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Description: Provides technical consultation and support associated with
operating systems.
Experience working in an enterprise environment of more than 10000 users
with a large remote and disconnected user base
5+ years experience with application packaging tools (Wise), troubleshooting
MSI errors, working with MSTs (Transforms) and MSPs (Patches).
Experience with Software Distribution via Altiris/SMS.
Experience with Windows PE, Group Policy Objects and security settings
associated with locking down an image Experience with VMWare workstation
5.x/6.x MCP on Windows XP Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Client
technologies Excellent knowledge of Visual Basic, C#, VBScript, WMI and WSH.
High-level understanding of networking architecture, as well as basic
principles of network security (firewalls and proxies) General Windows
server component knowledge in IIS, ASP, and SQL Excellent written and oral
communication skills Consistently demonstrates a solid foundation of
problem-solving technique to resolve complex issues.
